I am Kaitlyn Reich from Park Ridge, Illinois.

I have been passionate about art since I was young, but never felt like the typical painting and drawing was for me. This is when I discovered the online form of art. I was encouraged by my high school art teacher to pursue a career in Graphic Design, and it’s something I will never forget. I hope to make her proud as I begin my career as a Graphic Designer.

I believe that a career in Graphic Design, as well as User Experience, will lead me to feel as if I’m never working a day in my life. My goal is to one day work for a company that uses my graphics to spread awareness for issues going on in the world today. I want to use my knowledge and experience I’ve gained at Bradley University to make a change, and to make memorable pieces for the world to see.

Any Time, Any Place
Audible is an online audiobook and podcast service that is accessible to users right at their fingertips. With my advertising campaign series, I showcase users participating in every-day activities while using Audible. My goal was to show the ease that comes with using Audible and how it can be incorporated into typical routines, such as taking the bus. Each advertisement in the series showcases a user listening to Audible, as well as the Audible-orange featured as the main color pop. Each advertisement includes a short sentence explaining how Audible could be beneficial to a potential user.
Eco Change
Eco-change is an application I designed that promotes helpful tips and tricks to become more environmentally friendly. This application encourages users to reduce, reuse, and recycle their waste with tricks when cooking, cleaning, shopping, and living everyday life. With tips and tricks all in one place, users are able to learn easy ways to adjust their lifestyle to be more conscientious of their global footprint. The app encourages users to continue to incorporate environmentally friendly habits by rewarding them with the ability to ‘build’ their own plants in the app. There is a journal feature where users can document their success, and a community thread to view what other people are doing to be more environmentally friendly.
The Nows vs. The Laters
The Nows vs. The Laters is my illustrative take on 9 June 1905 in Einstein's Dreams written by Alan Lightman. This chapter really inspired me to create something futuristic, and somewhat a mixture between human and robot. I created simple designs with the only visual differentiation between the two groups of people being their colors, red or blue. Each page of the 9 page book includes the futuristic Nows and Laters in different forms that follow along the story of their lives.
Coral Reef
The ‘What Is? ’infographic poster breaks down problems going on with our ocean. “What Is Coral Bleaching?” and “What Is Overfishing” are infographic posters that break down the cause and effect of two issues hurting our oceans today.
Bred for the Bullet
Bred for the Bullet is a poster series that brings awareness to the issue of trophy hunting. This series brings awareness to the unethical and inhumane side of hunting, and how animals are being bred only for a confirmed killing. The phrase, “Bred for the Bullet” encapsulates exactly what these animals are destined for.
