Covering subjects such as the history behind it, music genre classifications, flow arts, dances, and fashion. Each spread is designed to have the spirit of EDM, as well as the feeling of the topic the pages cover. This is accomplished by using vibrant colors, diverse representation, and emotive graphics.

Programs - Illustrator / Photoshop The concept behind, “Life is a Circus” is to have an escape from the hum-drum of everyday life by running away to the circus. Ironically, life is a circus. The poems inside would be a way of finding a silver lining in the everyday tasks and obstacles and hopefully having a more cheerful perspective by the end of the book. The graphics were intended to match this concept by placing a runaway circus tent in the middle of an unexpected, yet cheery, landscape.

Programs - Illustrator Size - 27” x 19” This poster describes my personal journey to get to sleep. Over the course of six days, I recorded data concerning my nightly routine. These items include how much self-care I did that evening, how much sleep I got in comparison to overall time, what distracted me on this journey, and more.

Programs - Photoshop / Illustrator Size - 10.5” x 3.156” (wrap) This was a packaging redesign for Tazo, creating a new line for loose leaf tea. This particular tea was for a rejuvenating and refreshing flavor called, “Japanese Green Tea with Yuzu Fruit and Indian Cranberry”. The canister is the most notable change from the usual Tazo boxes, which serves as a better preserving mechanism for the tea itself as well as distinguish itself from the original. In addition, more color is used on the front panel than the traditional branding. This design choice was made to represent the fuller flavor often associated with loose leaf tea in comparison to bag tea.

Using the idea of “recharging your mind with Lego”, it frames Lego building as an act of self-care. The touchpoints included social media and transit advertising. The idea is the general public seeing the ad on their phone while waiting, then while walking, and then once again while traveling on a bus or train. The colors chosen reflect the fun and relaxation being communicated, with the yellow and blues respectively.

Dimensions - 8.5 x 11 Programs - InDesign / Illustrator This magazine for Rebellion was a special edition for Earth Day. Inspired by the magazine title, I made the theme rock’n’roll. The articles within tell about rockstars, animal rights, and laws that were coming up to support animal rights. My illustrations and photos support the articles by keeping to the theme of the magazine as well as the contents of the articles. I used several fonts in order to play with an expression of type as well as keep to a grungy feel. The greens and blues were indicative of the “Earth Day” topic, but purple was added to the mix to create the mysterious or dark feeling associated with rock music.

This app designed for iOS is a tool for tattoo artists and people who are interested in getting a tattoo. It encompasses features such as finding art inspiration, finding local artists that fit your needs, chat options to set up appointments and ask questions to artists, and an Augmented Reality feature to test out tattoos before making them permanent. In addition, the user has a profile page that keeps saved art, appointments, and biography of tattoo preferences and history for artists to check out.
