Sydney Morr was born in St. Louis, Missouri in February 2000. At Bradley University she is a Senior BFA Graphic Design major with a Social Media Marketing minor. She is finishing out her degree and will be graduating May 14th, 2022 and then plans to move back to St. Louis. While at Bradley she has earned the Fine Art’s Talent Scholarship, the John Barrett Award, and Dean’s List every semester. She has gained experience through internships at 42 Growth Strategies, Camp Gladiator, and more. Currently she is interning at Bradley University’s Alumni Relations and Smith Career Center. She hopes to continue growing as an artist as she moves into the professional working field.

Through this project I created app design for an AR app. Full development process starting including the ideas, strategy, and testing. This was my first introduction into UI/UX so I learned how to utilize graphics and think of the usability first before how they looked. The process of creation required organized development of the interface. It included an empathy map, moodboard, competitive analysis, information architecture, user testing, wireframing, and much more. For my app I created Bounty, which is a ghost detector app that also serves as a collection and social media.

Brand Experience project to create a campaign that appeals to teenagers and rebuilds their relationship with the LEGO brand on their own terms. It needed to encourage and inspire teens who have advanced into new creative spaces to take notice and use LEGO bricks to make creative statements and actions that really matter to them, and the world around them. This includes interaction and requires teens to take charge in real life and bring them back to LEGO.

Tarot Cards have a long history of meaning and design. The Major Arcana are the first 22 cards, each of which are based on archetypes. Together these cards tell a story and lead to the deep truths in your life. In the Untamed Collection, each card has its own conceptual design influenced by its history, meaning, and the overall ways every aspect of life is affected by nature and chaos. Through a mixed media approach of concept design, relief printmaking, and graphic design I created my personal deck of cards to show my artistic and inner voice.
Magazine Mockup
This project required creation of a trendy art magazine with its own creative direction. Main requirement is to use an existing article about the arts for the cover story along with a magazine line that the story would fit into. The cover story has an opening spread and text spread that are cohesive. The cover of the magazine and table of contents needed to be versatile enough to fit other editions as well as fit the brand of the magazine.

The survival rate of skin cancer is around 91% for White people. But what about other skin colors? That’s when you start to see the survival rate plummet, for Black people especially down to 65%. The reason? This is because the signs are more difficult to spot thanks to not only a lack of awareness, but also systemic problems and racial disparities in medicine. This branding campaign project raises the challenge to develop an integrated campaign to raise awareness and help people of color receive adequate diagnosis and treatment.

The purpose of this infographic piece was to analyze and compare our social media usage. It was required to act as a creative direct mail piece as well as to spread awareness to the public about how the world uses their social media. While keeping with the integrity of accurate graphs, it needed to have an overall concept that complimented a three-dimensional direct mail piece.
Sydney Morr - Journey Part B
A personal map of a journey introduction into quantitative and qualitative data. In this project it was necessary that we measured as much data as possible of a journey that we often went through in order to get a better understanding of analyzing data and translating it into not only accurate graphs, but creative and visually appealing infographics.

Creative packaging design brand for a single serving meal package. It needed to be at least three food items that are a full gourmet meal on-the-go with a set goals, purpose, and target audience. With the rise of environment issues, this posed an extra challenge of creating a sustainable package brand that could still be affordable as well as delicious.

This project was to create a wayfinding app for the Peoria Zoo. The navigation UX elements were to easily lead the user throughout the zoo. It should give directions and guide to specific exhibits, restaurants, and events. Using some of the existing Peoria Zoo logos, the app design needed to be cohesive and adaptable to fit all the resources of the zoo. It needed to be easy to navigate around the app as well as the zoo.
Armor Portfolio
Project to create a new magazine cover and spread that would have other issues for earth day and climate issues. Spread needs to incorporate exciting, dynamic text. This required a magazine brand, cover, table of contents, opening spread, and two text spreads of a pre-existing article. This needed to be developed in print format first and then formatted to fit a digital, tablet format. The digital version should show what interaction can be added, navigation, and more.
